Watch out... Dead End!

When I got to work this morning, I saw this:

It was taken with my phone camera, so the resolution isn't the best, but good enough. It was a walking and cycling path that is now (temporarily?) closed down and during my lunch time, I still often notice cyclists coming up at full speed until they notice it's a dead end.

The end of the line....

ET: Yes, and still after 2 days there, people still stop to have a closer look.

Suray: Only if you don't hit the breaks in time ;)

Fab: Good to see you again, buddy. Who needs signs when you can have art that says it all?!

Ex-Shammi: Yep. But what a cool way to show it.

What a fabulous catch, CS! Wow. Good eye.

BTW, I'm staying in A'dam till next Wednesday because Donica's schedule got changed. Nice for me to have an extra week here. :)

Jay: For sure. Even the bikers like it :)

Ginnie: Good eye? LOL. Not really. I have to walk there to get to work and I usually have my lunch break there. You'd have to be blind to miss it.

So you're going to "extend" you birthday until then?? Great! :)

Great idea, wonderful shot!
I came here through Kim, Traveller One, and noticed that you're based in Basel. Just posted some pictures of your region in Blogtrotter; hope to have made justice to the city...

What a clever, creative way to send a powerful message about bicycle safety. Great find - thanks for showing it to us.

Hmm, another good reason why my bicycle stays in our garage...that would probably be me hitting that wall!

ET: I'l be looking forward to seeing the "new you" :)

GMG: Thanks for stopping by. I'll be dropping in for a visit soon, too.

Haddock: It sure did!

annulla: Thanks for the visit. :)

CB: That's also why my bicycle still hasn't moved from our front entrance!
