Dale's habits, signs and non-verbal communication

Sometimes words cannot explain as much as gestures or body language. We've been trying for a long time to capture our four legged friend in his way of expressing his wants. Saturday morning I finally succeeded in capturing one of his unspoken communications. It's nice how you get to know your pet and its habits. For every little thing he want he has a different meow or facial expression. He knows how to use his "manners" to make clear what he wants.

Isn't he cute (and big)? This is Dale's ultimate way of expressing his impatience after his morning stroll. I wanna come in, need take a sh*t downstairs and then you can serve me breakfast! Yes master, your wish is my command... but uhh, who cleans the window?

xmichra - I know how you feel. we lost Dale's sister last year. She was all his opposite (in looks and Character). She was the little princess, fluffy half-angora, going from reddish blond to dark brown (with white chin) and weighed about 3 kg compared to Dales 9kg!

Expat - He definitely rules! I think he's the one to have US as pets. :-)

BTW - I cleaned the window again today!

Aww, pretty kitty.

I'm not much for pets, but I still think the kitty looks sweet!

He is very sweet indeed. He actually spins with his front paws against the glass to catch our attention. Quite funny to watch :-)

He's so cute! Tall, dark and handsome. :-) I'm allergic to cats so we can't have one, but there are a couple that come to visit and they do similar things, thinking that we'll let them in.

Knowing what every little gesture and meow means is only preparing you for kids, you know (assuming you're planning any?). A mommy always knows what each and every cry means! How cute.

Christina - it's a pity you're allergic. The nice thing ybout cats is they are always so true and sincere. If they don't feel like being touched, they'll let you know. But it must be nice seeing cats indicating they wanna come in. Means they sense the good in you...

Ginnie - Sorry, but no way! We're both forty, enjoy our lives and I already have a 15-year old daughter who lives with her mom in Holland. The heartache of one I cannot se (she doesn't want to) is enough to handle in a lifetime. So, for now it's CS, the cat and I.

Hehe- Yeah Ginnie. He'll just be our four legged son ;-)

Christina - Funny. Many cats seem attracted to those who don't want or can't have them.

Well, then you have a 4-legged SON who will run your lives better than my own 2-legged one (depressed, suicidal, just fired last week). So yes, Orange-X, there's definitely something to just saying NO. Your lives are full to over-flowing already. Who could want anything more, right?!
